The Alberg 30 was a Canadian made boat first built in the 1960's. It was an extremely sturdy, ocean safe boat. The sail came off this boat when it was shipwrecked in Humber Bay, due to a devastating wind storm that blew across Lake Ontario in early April one year. The boat had been tied to it's mooring; the lines snapped and the boat landed on the rocks on shore.
